International relations
The Norwegian Police University College is involved in international activities on several levels.
Nordcop – Nordic cooperation in Police Education
Nordplus is a collaboration network consisting of police training establishments in the Nordic countries – Denmark, Iceland, Finland, Sweden and Norway. The aim of the network is to increase educational mobility through exchange programmes and professional collaboration.
CEPOL – European Police College
CEPOL is a network comprising the central police training establishments of the EU member states. The NPUC is included in the network as an associated member. CEPOL offers an extensive range of courses and works to promote the harmonisation and raising of levels of expertise in police training in Europe.

International civil crisis management
Training Norwegian and foreign policemen and women for service in conflict-ridden areas under the command of the UN, the OSCE, the EU or based on bilateral agreements. The United Nations Police Officers Corps is a mandatory two-week course. The course is held two to three times a year entirely in English. International civil crisis management also comprises the subject `Human Rights and Law Enforcement’.
Schengen border and immigration service
Training Norwegian and foreign policemen and women to serve as border control agents in the Schengen area.
